Hi, I’m Tim. I’m a convert.
Raised a Catholic I went through some life changing thought processes while attending college at Northern Arizona University. The most life-altering part was hearing a motivational speaker discuss “The Balanced Man” which was a theme of one of the fraternities there (not mine, but another). It struck me to the core so much that I realized religion was missing from my life at that time. That’s the short of it. There’s some better parts to the story, but in the end I was converted. That was 1995.
I’m not a scriptorian or a master of anything religious. I try to surround myself with people smarter than I and have met many good friends that have influenced my spiritual life tremendously. I like to think that I haven’t changed because of my religion…I’m still a jerk at times, try to be sarcastic whenever possible…might not swear as much though ;-).
I live in the Pacific Northwest with my beautiful wife and two children. I absolutely love our neighborhood and the friends we have all around us. My wife and I love to travel, primarily to Mexico. I consider myself a scuba diver, but haven’t been in a while (did you see the part about kids?) but have the most fun in and out of the water in Cancun, Mexico. I currently work for Microsoft as a program manager for Microsoft Silverlight, a web technology aimed at delivering rich internet experiences to users. My rolling 5-year plan (it hasn’t come to pass yet) is to own a dive shop in Cancun. Anyone want to loan me some money?
I consider myself readily available and you can contact me in various ways.
